EMPORIVM keeps what you share with us private. This page says what we collect, why, and for how long.
What you send us
When you ask for a shoot, we keep your name, phone, email, the property address and your message to reply and do the work. We never sell or share it.
Emails we send you
Our emails contain a tiny image and links that tell us when an email was opened and which link was clicked, so we know a message reached you. Some email apps (like Apple Mail) load images on their own, so an "open" isn't always a read. Want us to stop? Switch off "Count opens and clicks" on your account page (the link at the bottom of our emails), or reply to any email and we'll do it for you. Every newsletter has a one-click Unsubscribe link.
Invoices and quotes
When you open an invoice or quote link we note that it was viewed, for how long the page was on your screen, and whether you downloaded the PDF. It helps us answer your questions. We don't count our own views.
Your account page
The link at the bottom of our emails opens your account page, where you choose which emails you get and see your shoots and invoices. We note when it's used (when, which page, which email you came from, the type of device, a shortened internet address) and what you change there, so we keep a record of your choices. Sign-in links we email you work once, for 60 minutes. If you switch off "Count opens and clicks", we stop noting your visits (your choices are still recorded).
Visiting this website
We count visits without cookies: a code that changes every day, made from a shortened version of your internet address and your browser type. We can't recognise you or follow you from one day to the next. The details are deleted after 90 days; only daily totals are kept.
Cookies
If our cookie banner is on, analytics cookies are only used after you choose Accept. We keep a record of your choice (which choice, when, which page, a shortened internet address) for 3 years as proof, and you can change it any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the page.
Our own back office
For security we log sign-ins to our staff area (when, from where). It has nothing about you.
How long we keep things
- Visit details: 90 days (daily totals are kept).
- Email open and click details: kept with the email's delivery record, then deleted.
- Cookie choices: 3 years.
- Account page visits and changes: 400 days.
- Internet addresses are shortened, so they don't point to one device.
